Caboclos AD's Osmar Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ale Crowley in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Claudinho Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caboclos AD's attentive Jean do Nascimento managed to snatch the ball when William Aguiar made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Antônio de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osmar Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Caboclos AD's Jean do Nascimento managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by William Aguiar in the 32 minute of the game. A collision led to Caboclos AD getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Hílton Marquez hit a great ball. Cícero Moura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo José Ceresso came out and tried to block the shot, but Cícero Moura slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Paulo José Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Marquez in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Giovani Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldinho Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caboclos AD getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ronaldinho Albuquerque hit a great ball.

In the 52nd minute, Bin Osama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Giovani Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Caboclos AD defense, Antônio de Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Matos. The Caboclos AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Matos should have stopped the shot. Caboclos AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Antônio de Salles scored to the left of an out of position Osmar Matos, making the score, 1-3. Osmar Matos made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Antônio de Salles sent off a good shot on target. If Ale Crowley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Caboclos AD's goalkeeper Osmar Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio de Salles. With 84 minutes on the clock, Arthur Oliveira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caboclos AD! Murillo Coutinho shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 86th minute, Gil Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Caboclos AD's Osmar Matos got control of the ball when Antônio de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Hílton Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caboclos AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The audience was convinced that Antônio de Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osmar Matos was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cachaceiros FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
