Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Cachaceiros FC's Antônio de Salles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Betão da Silva took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo José Ceresso. Paulo José Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 7th play minutes Bin Osama shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Artur Rezende and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Bin Osama's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Rezende was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Jefferson Vianna charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jefferson Vianna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Jefferson Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Itabuna FC.'s Zé Alcântara got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Arlindo Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachaceiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlindo Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Betão da Silva put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo José Ceresso. Artur Rezende was a little too slow when Antônio de Salles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 27th match minute, Itabuna FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Artur Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ale Crowley in the 30th minute. In the 40th match minute, Itabuna FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. Itabuna FC. were furious when Zé Alcântara was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Artur Rezende, was totally fooled by Cachaceiros FC's Arlindo Luz, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The supporters of Itabuna FC. booed when Cachaceiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Itabuna FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ale Crowley came free, but Artur Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Antônio de Salles notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Itabuna FC.'s Artur Rezende. Artur Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Itabuna FC. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nilton Moraes hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Itabuna FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Luz came free, but Artur Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jefferson Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo José Ceresso having to make a save. When Cachaceiros FC's Antônio de Salles in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itabuna FC.'s goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Mumbach in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo José Ceresso saved Cachaceiros FC from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Sérgio Mumbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, William Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Itabuna FC.'s Jefferson Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Ale Crowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Jefferson Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itabuna FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 played minutes Cachaceiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan de Lima. Itabuna FC.'s Sérgio Mumbach got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jardel Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bin Osama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ale Crowley, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cachaceiros FC had won after a very even match.
