The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anderson Urbano struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Valdomiro Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pe de Sabão FC. In the 5th minute, Ernesto Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, one of Crobas EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Valdomiro Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Cordeiro went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anderson Urbano in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdomiro Bueno saved Crobas EC from getting behind. João Augusto Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Valdomiro Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Urbano in the 19th minute of the match. Valdomiro Bueno was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Wellington Paraíba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wellington Paraíba really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Vítor Favoretto in the 23rd minute of play forced Pe de Sabão FC's goalkeeper Tiago Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute José Vítor Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Cordeiro in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Vágner Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pe de Sabão FC and the Crobas EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Pe de Sabão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Macedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 34thth minute of the game José Vítor Favoretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pe de Sabão FC's Tiago Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Vítor Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tiago Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aníbal Trancoso's late challenge caught a Crobas EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aníbal Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. Flávio Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Edson Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tiago Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Bueno came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Pe de Sabão FC's Wellington Paraíba. But to his dismay, Wellington Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 62 played minutes Crobas EC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Ceresso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Salles in the 64th minute of play forced Pe de Sabão FC's goalkeeper Tiago Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Crobas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Urbano came free, but Valdomiro Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edson Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crobas EC's Valdomiro Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Urbano in the 79th minute of play. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Anderson Urbano sped through Crobas EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdomiro Bueno. After some careless play in the Crobas EC defense, Wellington Paraíba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdomiro Bueno. The Crobas EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdomiro Bueno should have stopped the shot. Pe de Sabão FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
