Zé Roberto Maranhense's shot from long distance in the 21st minute was not bad at all, but Pindobassu EC's Dráusio Diniz knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The Inajaroba EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Reis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Bertassi in the 32nd minute of play forced Inajaroba EC's goalkeeper Benjamin Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Jeff Beck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Laerte Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laerte Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benjamin Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 61 minutes, Nilmar Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindobassu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilmar Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeff Beck took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Reis. Benjamin Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Víktor Donatello replaced Alessandro Pavard. In the 80th match minute, Pindobassu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Vargas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Inajaroba EC's Frederico Mangueira got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Olavo Freire sped through Inajaroba EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Reis. Benjamin Reis stood somewhat misplaced when Dorian Hoffmann came free in front of goal and shot 0-14 to the left of him in the 88 minute. In the 91st minute Agnaldo Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Raphael Bertassi suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Benjamin Pontes's late challenge caught a Pindobassu EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inajaroba EC! After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Víktor Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pindobassu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Donatello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
