The supporters of Olympus booed when SWORD ART was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egídio Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexsandro Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behiç Erkinay in the 40th minute of the match. Rui Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Olympus's Behiç Erkinay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexsandro Maciel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Oliver Bierhoff hit a great ball. Alexsandro Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Braga's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The supporters of SWORD ART booed when Olympus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behiç Erkinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexsandro Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Behiç Erkinay fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympus's protests and gave Behiç Erkinay a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Alexsandro Maciel managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Olympus's Behiç Erkinay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rui Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexsandro Maciel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Egídio Matos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Braga in the 86th minute of play forced SWORD ART's goalkeeper Alexsandro Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Behiç Erkinay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SWORD ART fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Olympus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
