Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Salqueiro's Nelson Abraão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dino Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Salqueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Passos came free, but Thiago Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Juan Fantini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tauapeacu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salqueiro the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Abraão got free with Jacinto Loyola in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Passos in the 19th minute of the match. Juan Fantini was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Salqueiro booed when Tauapeacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tauapeacu's goalkeeper Jacinto Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nelson Abraão scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Manoel Melo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Salqueiro's Thiago Tróia. Thiago Tróia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute, Nando Passos made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Tróia. Salqueiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Thiago Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

After 57 minutes, Téo Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tauapeacu and the Salqueiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Tauapeacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Pinho to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Tauapeacu's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Pombal came free, but Jacinto Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tauapeacu's Dino Prado got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Dino Prado came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Tauapeacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Prado couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Renan Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Tróia made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Nando Passos sent off a good shot on target. Nelson Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Loyola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Salqueiro getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Silas Mota hit a great ball. Thiago Tróia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nando Passos in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nando Passos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Tróia. That made the score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. Tauapeacu's Jacinto Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Botelho in the 96th minute of play.
