Toninho Seco in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Maria Nascimento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Domicilio's Alfredo Gamboa got a free kick in the 15th minute. José Maria Nascimento was a little too slow when Toninho Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. José Maria Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Picavea in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Alfredo Gamboa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Maria Nascimento. The goal made the score 2-0. Ronaldinho Picavea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Maria Nascimento came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldinho Picavea slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. Ettore Mastrocola didn't quite understand what happened when in the 49 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 54 played minutes Olympus got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Novaes. In the 54th minute, Dudu Paes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Olympus's José Maria Nascimento didn't even have to move. 56 minutes into the match, Olympus's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Picavea came free, but José Maria Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Domicilio's Luís Gustavo da Silva in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olympus's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute Ronaldinho Picavea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Alfredo Gamboa notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Olympus's José Maria Nascimento. José Maria Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. César Mazza's late challenge caught a Domicilio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. Olympus were furious when Cacá Arce was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Olympus! After 81 minutes of play, Domicilio's Cristóvão Arruda made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Maria Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domicilio's Alfredo Gamboa got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domicilio's Waldemar Dzerwucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Braga in the 86th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Alfredo Gamboa made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Olympus's José Maria Nascimento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes in the game, Rui Braga fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Waldemar Dzerwucki having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Domicilio players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
