After a rather tough play, Santo's Murillo de Carvalho got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Dedé Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Muc in the 23rd minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Alexsandro Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Santo's Dedé Zonta got control of the ball when Raphael Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chico Godoi made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Chico Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dedé Zonta. Santo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chico Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 60th minute, Chico Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, ПФК ЦСКА's Chico Godoi made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedé Zonta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doriva Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dedé Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Godoi in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Zonta saved Santo from getting behind. Dedé Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Doriva Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dedé Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95thth minute of the game Chico Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo's Dedé Zonta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ПФК ЦСКА had played much better football throughout.
