Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lenílson Cardoso kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenílson Cardoso in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerônimo Capixaba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aírton Bueno made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Dé de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Jerônimo Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Maia in the 18th minute of play. Régis Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerônimo Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Cardoso in the 23rd minute of the match. Dé de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Guadiana's goalkeeper Aírton Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé de Amorim. In the 31st minute, Sílvio do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Guadiana getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Giovanni Nogueira hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guadiana's zone, Dé de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aírton Bueno came out of the goal and Dé de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenílson Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jerônimo Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Régis Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Capixaba having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Babilonia SC's Elias Macedo got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Babilonia SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guadiana were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juvenal Prado to make the kick off. Aírton Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Prado in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Cardoso in the 55th minute of play forced Babilonia SC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Régis Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Bueno having to interfere. Sydney Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sydney Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Babilonia SC's Sydney Novaes got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé de Amorim in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aírton Bueno saved Guadiana from getting behind. Régis Maia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Jerônimo Capixaba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Régis Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aírton Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Lenílson Cardoso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Guadiana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
