Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5350, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Geovanni dos Santos got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Remo Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natã Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 7 minutes of play, Guerreiros da Bola FC's Geovanni dos Santos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Víktor Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovanni dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Perez having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Marian Lodowy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natã Meireles. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Marian Lodowy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natã Meireles came out and tried to block the shot, but Marian Lodowy slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 21st minute. Geovanni dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Perez having to interfere. Geovanni dos Santos took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Víktor Perez. Víktor Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni dos Santos in the 30th minute of play forced Monte Cristo EC's goalkeeper Víktor Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Cachia Zammit kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The Monte Cristo EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guerreiros da Bola FC were winning 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Lodowy to make the kick off. Geovanni dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovanni dos Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Guerreiros da Bola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã Meireles. Guerreiros da Bola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Roberto Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Zé Roberto Velasco struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Natã Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Cristo EC. After 57 minutes of play, Monte Cristo EC's Marian Lodowy made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natã Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guerreiros da Bola FC's Natã Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Donatello in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Lodowy came free, but Natã Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monte Cristo EC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Guerreiros da Bola FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tadeu Siqueira took the corner. In the 66th match minute, Monte Cristo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Meireles having to interfere. Sami Khedira hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tadeu Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Cachia Zammit charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Natã Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Cristo EC. Víktor Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Marian Lodowy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Natã Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Monte Cristo EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
