The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Duque de Caxias's Marcelinho Costa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 18th match minute, SC Duque de Caxias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the game Egídio Seco made a throw-in which Marcelinho Costa played forward. In the 21st minute, Sydney de Carvalho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isaltino Leão. The goal made the score 1-0. Anderson Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Isaltino Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Vivaldo Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lemon Haze FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaltino Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Duque de Caxias's Isaltino Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save SC Duque de Caxias from getting a goal against them. SC Duque de Caxias's Isaltino Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Maciel in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Lemon Haze FC's Sydney de Carvalho made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaltino Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Lemon Haze FC's Anderson Lopes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Isaltino Leão came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Lemon Haze FC's Cauan Moraes. But to his dismay, Cauan Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Lemon Haze FC's Anderson Lopes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Egídio Seco in the 45 minute of the game. If Sydney de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney de Carvalho made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, SC Duque de Caxias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivaldo Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Isaltino Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Abraão hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Isaltino Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney de Carvalho went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. SC Duque de Caxias's Isaltino Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney de Carvalho in the 66th minute of play. Cristian Ribeiro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Sydney de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Isaltino Leão. SC Duque de Caxias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Marcelinho Costa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaltino Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Lopes's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Vivaldo Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Duque de Caxias's Isaltino Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Lemon Haze FC booed when SC Duque de Caxias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaltino Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lemon Haze FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
