Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Naldo Peixoto got the match started through his kick off. The Cercadinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cercadinho's Valiente Venezian got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Cercadinho got a corner. Copioba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisinho Vinhas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Cercadinho's corner Luisinho Vinhas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yuri Cordeiro quite easily take care of the ball. William de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Yuri Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naldo Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugurel Zota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Luís Fernando Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Fernando Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mugurel Zota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, William de Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Cordeiro. Copioba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William de Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 43rd minute, William de Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cercadinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when William de Castro made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Copioba got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Montenegro. Nildo Mandrak lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Valiente Venezian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Yuri Cordeiro made a huge save. Copioba's Yuri Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valiente Venezian in the 65th minute of play. Cercadinho's Edmundo Aparecido was substituted for Luís Fernando Queiroz. Cercadinho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nando Matorin in the 68th minute. A nice corner shot did that Nando Matorin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yuri Cordeiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. William de Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Copioba's goalkeeper Yuri Cordeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William de Castro. Mugurel Zota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, William de Castro notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Copioba's Yuri Cordeiro. Yuri Cordeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cercadinho's Ricardinho Sousa was substituted for Luiz Guilherme Araújo. In the 83rdth minute of the game Valiente Venezian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copioba's Yuri Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yuri Cordeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William de Castro went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Valiente Venezian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yuri Cordeiro. That made the score 0-9 in the 90 minute of play. Copioba's Yuri Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Copioba from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cercadinho eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
