Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Fernando Meira started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Anecoico FC's Luiz Fernando Meira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardinho Teixeira. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Bernardinho Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Meira in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Anecoico FC's Leonardo Tavares got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jean Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Gomes having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Décio Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taucucúga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes Taucucúga got a freekick which was hit by Décio Abreu. With a little luck, Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira got control of the ball when Caco Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardinho Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Taucucúga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Jean Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Taucucúga defense, Remo Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardinho Teixeira. The Taucucúga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardinho Teixeira should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renan Mineiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tales Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Giovani Travassos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira. Bernardinho Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Renan Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Luiz Fernando Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renan Mineiro got free with Miguel Gomes in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Giovani Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Tales Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Miguel Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Anecoico FC's Miguel Gomes got control of the ball when Tales Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renan Mineiro in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the game, Anecoico FC's Giovani Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardinho Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. When Jean Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Taucucúga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Rossi couldn't finish the play. Anecoico FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Taucucúga for a fine match.
