The supporters of Moema EC booed when SC Duque de Caxias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Campidelis took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaltino Leão. Isaltino Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. SC Duque de Caxias's Almir Gaspar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronaldinho Meira in the 10 minute of the game. Isaltino Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustão Pinho went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Ronaldinho Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Wiktor Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ale Bande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Faustão Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Luiz Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaltino Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, Luiz Campidelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaltino Leão. SC Duque de Caxias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Campidelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Ale Bande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Simões went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When Moema EC's Luiz Campidelis in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Duque de Caxias's goalie prevented a goal. Isaltino Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Castro in the 45th minute of play. Adalberto Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 minutes, Zé Carlos Cardozo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Duque de Caxias and the Moema EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. SC Duque de Caxias's Isaltino Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SC Duque de Caxias from getting a goal against them. SC Duque de Caxias's Isaltino Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Campidelis in the 69th minute of play. SC Duque de Caxias's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Faustão Castro scored to the left of an out of position Isaltino Leão, making the score, 1-7. SC Duque de Caxias's Isaltino Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Castro in the 74th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Luiz Campidelis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaltino Leão. Luiz Campidelis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. 83 minutes into the match, SC Duque de Caxias's goalkeeper Isaltino Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Campidelis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Pinho got free with Isaltino Leão in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaltino Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Campidelis in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Moema EC's Faustão Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaltino Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Castro in the 92nd minute of play forced SC Duque de Caxias's goalkeeper Isaltino Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Oswaldo Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaltino Leão. That made the score 1-11 in the 94 minute of play.
