Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sport Club Uyran's Carlos Alberto Vale started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Vidal in the 4th minute of play forced Sport Club Uyran's goalkeeper Nico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Anecoico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Giovani Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sport Club Uyran's Cipriano Severo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Anecoico FC. With a little luck, Anecoico FC's Miguel Gomes got control of the ball when Pedrinho Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedrinho Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Miguel Gomes made a huge save. Anecoico FC's Miguel Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Anecoico FC from getting a goal against them. Pedrinho Salgado came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miguel Gomes could save by the left post. In the 21st minute, Giovani Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Carlos Alberto Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Caco Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nico Donato was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 47th match minute, Anecoico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Travassos to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anecoico FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cipriano Severo was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Club Uyran's players had a chance to rest. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caco Vidal made a kick off. After 59 played minutes Sport Club Uyran got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Salgado. Sport Club Uyran's Carlos Alberto Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Pedrinho Salgado sped through Anecoico FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Gomes. Sandro Barbosa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Caco Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caco Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Nico Donato made a huge save. A collision led to Sport Club Uyran getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Sandrinho Miranda hit a great ball. Nico Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fernando Meira went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Anecoico FC defense, Carlos Alberto Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Gomes. The Anecoico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Gomes should have stopped the shot. Sport Club Uyran's Carlos Alberto Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Vale in the 95th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
