Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Taucucúga's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Salgado came free, but Bernardinho Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardinho Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sport Club Uyran's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Joélson Nóbrega scored to the left of an out of position Nico Donato, making the score, 1-3. Taucucúga's Tales Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nico Donato made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Tales Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Sport Club Uyran were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alberto Vale made a kick off. Bernardinho Teixeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Alberto Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 53 minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Salgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Bernardinho Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Taucucúga's Bernardinho Teixeira got control of the ball when Pedrinho Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 played minutes Taucucúga got a freekick which was hit by Tales Medeiros. Jean Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 87th minute Joélson Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Sport Club Uyran's Sandro Barbosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardinho Teixeira. Bernardinho Teixeira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Sandro Barbosa's late challenge caught a Taucucúga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Sport Club Uyran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. The Taucucúga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sport Club Uyran's performance. The match ended with a win for Sport Club Uyran.
