Elias Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Vaz in the 8th minute of the match. Elias Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Christian Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Pombal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes, Bento AD's Christian Duarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Pombal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bento AD reached it. With a little luck, Bento AD's Jeferson Alagoano got control of the ball when Igor Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Botelho in the 23rd minute of play forced Bento AD's goalkeeper Jeferson Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Willian Botelho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jeferson Alagoano to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Bezerra in the 29th minute of play forced Bento AD's goalkeeper Jeferson Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Zé Paulo Peixoto took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jeferson Alagoano to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th minute Zé Paulo Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bento AD's Sílvio Ramos suffered a sprained foot after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 37 minutes into the game, one of Biriguy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Biriguy:s Elias Pombal showed great skill when he stopped Amadeu Sá:s penalty. Igor Fonseca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 43rd playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, Carlos Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bento AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Biriguy the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Eduardo de Senna during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bento AD's Luís Eduardo de Senna got a free kick in the 55th minute. Igor Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Alagoano having to interfere. In the 60th minute Igor Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Igor Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jeferson Alagoano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Carlos Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Elias Pombal made a huge save. Carlos Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Elias Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Willian Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bento AD's Jeferson Alagoano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Biriguy's Rodolfo Carioca got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Biriguy's zone, Amadeu Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Pombal came out of the goal and Amadeu Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Zé Paulo Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Willian Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Amadeu Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bento AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 played minutes Biriguy got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Peixoto. In the 89th minute of the match Amadeu Sá sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Pombal skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute Willian Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Biriguy had won after a very even match.
