After 22 minutes, Delfim do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Cecchetto and the Bento AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delfim do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Sílvio Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson de Salles took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeferson Alagoano. It was a brilliant solo performance by Bento AD's Sílvio Ramos when he shot the ball into the net to 2-2 in the 42nd minute. AC Cecchetto's Isaltino Guerra quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sílvio Ramos, made in the 46th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Carlos Vaz made the kick off in the second half. Jeferson Alagoano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidney Moura in the 54th minute. But to his dismay, Kléberson de Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Horácio Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. AC Cecchetto played a much better game than Bento AD and deserved their victory. The Bento AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
