The Biriguy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Pombal should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Azevedo in the 47th minute of play forced Biriguy's goalkeeper Elias Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 53rd play minute Magno Azevedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elias Pombal. 0-3. Biriguy's Elias Pombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Biriguy from getting a goal against them. When Magno Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Azevedo couldn't finish the play. If Magno Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Fonseca in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Vander saved G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting behind. After a rather tough play, G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's José Paulo Luz got a free kick in the 67th minute. G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's Evaristo Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Fonseca in the 69th minute of play. If Willian Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Evaristo Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Biriguy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE's performance. The match ended with a win for G5 FUTEBOL CLUBE.
