A collision led to Strutz FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tostão Oliveira hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Canelada FC's Jochem Heesen tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Bertassi in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Canelada FC's José Guerra got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes, Geovanni Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canelada FC and the Strutz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Canelada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Pena to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Eduardo Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Strutz FC were awarded a corner. Gernando de Souza went to the cornerflag to take it. Strutz FC's Gernando de Souza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Eduardo Ferraz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 24th minute Bernardo Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Strutz FC defense, Jochem Heesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Batista. The Strutz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Batista should have stopped the shot. With splendid footwork José Guerra arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 29th minute. Carlinhos Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jochem Heesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Strutz FC's José Augusto Neiva got a free kick in the 35th minute. Canelada FC's Geovanni Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Jochem Heesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Batista was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Carlinhos Batista made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Geovanni Pena sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanni Pena got free with Carlinhos Batista in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Strutz FC's Isaltino Miranda got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute José Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 played minutes Strutz FC got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Neiva. The Canelada FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Canelada FC's Jochem Heesen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlinhos Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochem Heesen in the 60th minute of play forced Strutz FC's goalkeeper Carlinhos Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Strutz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Batista having to interfere. Geovanni Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Carlinhos Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With an all-out effort, Strutz FC's Carlos Eduardo Ferraz threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valdomiro Macedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 74 minutes into the match, Canelada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Macedo came free, but Carlos Eduardo Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovanni Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Batista having to interfere. Carlinhos Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochem Heesen in the 83rd minute of play. If Jochem Heesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Strutz FC's Carlinhos Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Pena in the 88th minute of play. Carlinhos Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochem Heesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the game, one of Strutz FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Canelada FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jochem Heesen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Strutz FC's Carlinhos Batista. 6-1. 96 minutes into the game, José Guerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Carlinhos Batista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
