Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jean Berger got the match started through his kick off. Luiz Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Stellan Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Mattos in the 6th minute of play. The Paranhos Ariranha FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Diguinho Freire hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in RapidZ's zone, Cristóvão Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Bergqvist came out of the goal and Cristóvão Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cristóvão Mattos sped through RapidZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stellan Bergqvist. In the 17thth minute of the game Cristóvão Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RapidZ's Stellan Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 minutes RapidZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Francisco Fontes who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Mattos in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, RapidZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mattos came free, but Stellan Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the RapidZ defense, Cristóvão Mattos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stellan Bergqvist. The RapidZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stellan Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Paranhos Ariranha FC. Pieter-Maarten Specht stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stellan Bergqvist. 0-5. Stellan Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Stellan Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Mattos in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Paranhos Ariranha FC got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Fontes. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Mattos made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, RapidZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mattos came free, but Stellan Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Mattos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stellan Bergqvist, 0-6. The throw-in from Erik Pimenta in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Abel Maia. Paranhos Ariranha FC's João Francisco Fontes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stellan Bergqvist but with some difficulty. RapidZ's Diguinho Freire quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Honorato Afonso, made in the 71st minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Cristóvão Mattos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stellan Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Mattos got free with Stellan Bergqvist in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stellan Bergqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 87th minute, Cristóvão Mattos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stellan Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. The supporters of Paranhos Ariranha FC booed when RapidZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Cristóvão Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranhos Ariranha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Paranhos Ariranha FC's Emanuele Hottiger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stellan Bergqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
