Cuiabazinho SC's Delfim Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochem Heesen in the 32nd minute of play. Cuiabazinho SC's Delfim Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cuiabazinho SC from getting a goal against them. Jochem Heesen scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delfim Trancoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Renato Gaúcho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Cuiabazinho SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Canelada FC:s goal. 48 minutes into the match, Cuiabazinho SC's goal looked a bit too open when José Guerra came free, but Delfim Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nando Arantes made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Cristian Arantes in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cuiabazinho SC's Luís Fernando Ceresso. Nando Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Jochem Heesen made a precise shot to the right of Delfim Trancoso. Cuiabazinho SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Delfim Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochem Heesen in the 60th minute of play. Canelada FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
