Luís Gustavo Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 邱广耀 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Marques in the 11th minute of play forced Hell's goalkeeper 邱广耀 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Brejal's Jorge Rossi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Bertassi got free with 邱广耀 in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute of the match Leopoldo Veloso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 邱广耀 skillfully saved the ball. Hell's 邱广耀 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Sabóia in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Sabóia in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 邱广耀 saved Hell from getting behind. Michel Terres kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Paulo dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. 邱广耀 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brejal. 33 minutes into the match, Hell's goalkeeper 邱广耀 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Gustavo Marques. After having played for 35 minutes, Paulo dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brejal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 邱广耀 was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Juan Sabóia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Sabóia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Leopoldo Veloso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 邱广耀 came out and tried to block the shot, but Leopoldo Veloso slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. After 41 played minutes Brejal got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Marques. In the 45th minute Régis de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邱广耀 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Sabóia made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Hell's Carlos Fernando Lucas got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Paulo dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brejal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hell booed when Brejal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulão Marques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Custódio went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Terres during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, one of Hell:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hell. Franklin Prestes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 65th minute, Régis de Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brejal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 邱广耀 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sabóia in the 71st minute of play.
