Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dráusio Vander kicked off to start the match. Olavo de Andrade's late challenge caught a Emparedado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olavo de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Estrias's Olavo de Andrade got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dráusio Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Carlos Koehler notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Estrias's Sandrinho Veloso. Sandrinho Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Koehler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sandrinho Veloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Koehler slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. Tarcisio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. Jorginho Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráusio Vander struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tarcisio Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrias. When Carlos Koehler came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Emparedado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Koehler couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Luís Guilherme Negri made the kick off in the second half. Dráusio Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Vargas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jorginho Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrias's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarcisio Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Júnior Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Emparedado's Luís Guilherme Negri made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandrinho Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ricardo de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Dráusio Vander in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 68th minute, Jano Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Dráusio Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Jorginho Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Dráusio Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorginho Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Vargas having to interfere. Carlos Koehler got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 84th match minute, Emparedado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Koehler to maneuver through the defense. When Dráusio Vander came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Estrias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio Vander couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Paulo Abraão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tarcisio Vargas, 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Emparedado were victorious despite being under pressure from Estrias for much of the match.
