The Estrias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandrinho Veloso should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Einar Josefsson made a precise shot to the right of Sandrinho Veloso. Estrias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Estrias's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Brito came free, but Sandrinho Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário de Sousa in the 36th minute of play forced Estrias's goalkeeper Sandrinho Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, PeidôXerozo EC's Romário de Sousa made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandrinho Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Einar Josefsson in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandrinho Veloso saved Estrias from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

PeidôXerozo EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
