In the 10th minute, Alfredão de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Léo Aguiar. Ultimate Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 16th minute of the match, João Augusto Sousa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Léo Aguiar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alfredão de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Léo Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredão de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If César Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredão de Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Léo Aguiar made a huge save. When Tiaguinho Vale fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bentinho AD's protests and gave Tiaguinho Vale a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Bentinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Vale. The supporters of Ultimate Futebol Clube booed when Bentinho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílton Severo scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Diniz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílton Severo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiaguinho Vale hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Nicolas Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Alfredão de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Bentinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredão de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Ultimate Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão de Carvalho came free, but Léo Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Carlos Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bentinho AD booed when Ultimate Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Vicente Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bentinho AD! 85 minutes into the game, Jefferson Fontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Nicolas Diniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Léo Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredão de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léo Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Alfredão de Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Léo Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredão de Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. The Bentinho AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ultimate Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Ultimate Futebol Clube.
