Felippe Mesquita came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomás Rossi could save by the left post. Alexsandro Azevedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomás Rossi came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexsandro Azevedo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. Cícero Reis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sandrinho Veloso. Estrias's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Felippe Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Abraão in the 35th minute of play forced Juventus - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tomás Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Rossi was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Jorginho Perez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorginho Perez really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felippe Mesquita to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Juventus - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Veloso. After having played for 53 minutes, Jorginho Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Estrias fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Estrias's Felippe Mesquita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 58th match minute, Estrias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Perez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Azevedo in the 63rd minute of play forced Juventus - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tomás Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Rossi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Estrias's Durval Pimenta got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes, Juventus - FSCMZ's Cícero Reis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandrinho Veloso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
