In the 8th minute Noel de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bentinho AD's Nicolas Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Pernambucano in the 12th minute of play. Bentinho AD's César Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Monteiro in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, ELO CRF's Gilson Pernambucano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Diniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredão de Carvalho in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovânio Veloso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. João Augusto Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão de Carvalho scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovânio Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gilson Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Alfredão de Carvalho put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Geovânio Veloso. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that João Augusto Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovânio Veloso was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Alfredão de Carvalho took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovânio Veloso. Geovânio Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Gaspar couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the game, César Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bentinho AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ELO CRF the free kick. A collision led to Bentinho AD getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. But to his dismay, Alfredão de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Bentinho AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
