Tomás Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Juventus - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tomás Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Koehler. In the 47th minute, Luís Guilherme Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventus - FSCMZ's Erasmo Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tarcisio Vargas. That made the score 3-4 after 81 minutes of play. Tarcisio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Clemente Pontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarcisio Vargas was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Carlos Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Rossi having to interfere. Davi Godoi came free in the 92nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Tomás Rossi, but to the joy of Juventus - FSCMZ's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Tomás Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Juventus - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Juventus - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
