The wind increased when Cipriano Capixaba made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Valdir Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Iuri Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlantis's supporters rose to their feet, but Iuri Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lauro Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Percy Simões in the 64th minute. Léo Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidney da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Domingues in the 75th minute of the match. When Iuri Sabóia fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlantis's protests and gave Iuri Sabóia a yellow card for diving instead. Lauro Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iuri Sabóia's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Lauro Leme made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Percy Simões sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Lauro Leme managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Atlantis's Percy Simões fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
