INDIGO's Nelson Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Lopes in the 59th minute of play. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edson Zonta got free with Pedro Luís Godoi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 played minutes SF Aripuanã got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Furlan. In the 88th match minute, SF Aripuanã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Ospin to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, SF Aripuanã's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim da Rocha. The supporters of INDIGO booed when SF Aripuanã was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luís Godoi was a little too slow when Márcio Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as INDIGO's Jacobo Romelio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luís Godoi. That made the score 1-2 after 94 minutes of play.
