INDIGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sagatyba Esporte Clube the free kick. A collision led to INDIGO getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Percy Silva hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Yeferson Soteldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sagatyba Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Yeferson Soteldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Txindoki scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, David Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Jacobo Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Clodoveo Txindoki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nelson Maciel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in INDIGO's zone, Clodoveo Txindoki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Maciel came out of the goal and Clodoveo Txindoki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nelson Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yeferson Soteldo in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Txindoki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelson Maciel. Clodoveo Txindoki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Nelson Maciel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wade Shannon went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A hard shot 34 in the game by Clodoveo Txindoki from a close distance when the talented Nelson Maciel managed to make a qualified save. INDIGO's players were relieved. Nelson Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wade Shannon in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Sagatyba Esporte Clube booed when INDIGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Txindoki scored 7-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacobo Romelio to make the kick off. Wade Shannon might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelson Maciel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wade Shannon ran back to his position shaking his head. Nelson Maciel came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Clodoveo Txindoki. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Txindoki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Clodoveo Txindoki scored 9-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65 played minutes INDIGO got a freekick which was hit by Edson Zonta. When Clodoveo Txindoki came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Sagatyba Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Txindoki couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wade Shannon in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clodoveo Txindoki scored 11-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Txindoki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Maciel was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, INDIGO's goal looked a bit too open when David Ramalho came free, but Nelson Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clodoveo Txindoki took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelson Maciel. Nelson Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. After 88 minutes, Clodoveo Txindoki made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. INDIGO's Nelson Maciel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. David Ramalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelson Maciel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Ramalho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Clodoveo Txindoki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. When the referee ended the match the Sagatyba Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
