Atlantis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arara azul the free kick. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlantis! Manfredo Brodel placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 15th minute, Percy Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arara azul's Elvis Tek in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlantis's goalie prevented a goal. Elvis Tek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvis Teks short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Sidney da Costa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Adolfo Magalhães in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wit Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Sabóia in the 32nd minute of play. In the 42nd minute Elvis Tek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47thth minute of the game Elvis Tek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlantis's Sidney da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvis Tek was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Elvis Tek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arara azul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. João Adolfo Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Sidney da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arara azul. Sidney da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvis Tek's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Percy Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When João Adolfo Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arara azul's protests and gave João Adolfo Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Elvis Tek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arara azul's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvis Tek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidney da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvis Tek, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Iuri Sabóia made a precise shot to the right of Wit Panasewicz. Arara azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 88th minute, João Adolfo Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Atlantis getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Olavo Coutinho hit a great ball. Elvis Tek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney da Costa having to interfere. Arara azul's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
