After a defensive mix-up in SF Aripuanã's zone, Elvis Tek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Godoi came out of the goal and Elvis Tek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Magalhães in the 4th minute of play forced SF Aripuanã's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SF Aripuanã's Pedro Luís Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Tek in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Elvis Tek made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Godoi. SF Aripuanã's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pedro Luís Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elvis Tek went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Lopes in the 15th minute of play forced Arara azul's goalkeeper Wit Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Carlos Fernando Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SF Aripuanã's Pedro Luís Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Tek in the 21st minute of play. João Adolfo Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Wit Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Lopes in the 28th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Arara azul's Elvis Tek made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Arara azul booed when SF Aripuanã was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SF Aripuanã's Marcelinho Lopes, in the 42nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SF Aripuanã. Fabiano Furlan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of SF Aripuanã booed when Arara azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Wit Panasewicz managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when SF Aripuanã's Marcelinho Lopes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wit Panasewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Pedro Luís Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Tek in the 60th minute of play. Pedro Luís Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvis Tek in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, SF Aripuanã's Marcelinho Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wit Panasewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When João Adolfo Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arara azul's protests and gave João Adolfo Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Arara azul got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Magalhães. Wit Panasewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Furlan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes Arara azul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rômulo Toledo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SF Aripuanã's Rômulo Toledo to fire away a dangerous shot which Wit Panasewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rômulo Toledo shot a long shot in the 74th minute and a light blocked Wit Panasewicz hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-3. In the 80th minute Elvis Tek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luís Godoi made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when João Adolfo Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Furlan in the 84th minute of play forced Arara azul's goalkeeper Wit Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvis Tek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luís Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Pedro Luís Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvis Tek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Adolfo Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Luís Godoi having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Lopes notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Arara azul's Wit Panasewicz. Wit Panasewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SF Aripuanã's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
