Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gláuber Santana got the match started through his kick off. Gláuber Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Sousa having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Válter Magalhães took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Elias Sousa to make any attempt to save it. Válter Magalhães's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Elias Sousa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Válter Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Sousa having to interfere. Jean Arruda charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Arruda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elias Sousa made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gláuber Santana sent off a good shot on target. Válter Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Válter Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Douradinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Vianna came free, but Elias Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Elias Sousa made a huge save. A collision led to Douradinho EC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Pedrão Palmeira hit a great ball. Elias Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Santana in the 41st minute of play. Elias Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Santana in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Bittencourt made a kick off. After 57 minutes of play, LOS BAIANOS's Gláuber Santana made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Douradinho EC's zone, Válter Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Sousa came out of the goal and Válter Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LOS BAIANOS's Gláuber Santana managed to work through Douradinho EC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gláuber Santana dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gláuber Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gláuber Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute Válter Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lenílson Fontes during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Gláuber Santana came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the LOS BAIANOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Santana couldn't finish the play. If Válter Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Douradinho EC defense, Válter Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Sousa. The Douradinho EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Sousa should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo de Mendonça hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Elias Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Magalhães in the 91st minute of play. Elias Sousa came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS BAIANOS's Gláuber Santana. But to his dismay, Gláuber Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the referee ended the match the LOS BAIANOS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
