Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andrézinho Tinoco took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd play minute Andrézinho Tinoco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Murillo Antunes. 1-0. After 6 played minutes Pedrinopolis FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Medeiros. After having played for 7 minutes, Cássio Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douradinho EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrézinho Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrézinho Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Douradinho EC's Elias Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Sergipano in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Davi Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Douradinho EC and the Pedrinopolis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pedrinopolis FC booed when Douradinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Natã Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute Natã Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Douradinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Brasil. Natã Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 minutes of play Douradinho EC's Davi Borges was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 24th minute, Davi Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo José Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Sousa having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Andrézinho Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedrinopolis FC's Murillo Antunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Douradinho EC's Andrézinho Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murillo Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jano Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jano Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Jano Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pedrinopolis FC's goalkeeper Murillo Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Douradinho EC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jano Hoffmann hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Sergipano in the 45th minute of play forced Douradinho EC's goalkeeper Elias Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Pedrinopolis FC's zone, Andrézinho Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Antunes came out of the goal and Andrézinho Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo José Albuquerque in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Sousa saved Douradinho EC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natã Sergipano got free with Elias Sousa in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pedrinopolis FC booed when Douradinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Douradinho EC's Pedrão Palmeira got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Paulo José Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedrinopolis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo José Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedrinopolis FC's Natã Sergipano managed to work through Douradinho EC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Natã Sergipano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Natã Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elias Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natã Sergipano in the 87th minute. With an all-out effort, Pedrinopolis FC's Elias Sousa threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulo José Albuquerque, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elias Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Medeiros in the 91st minute of the match. The Douradinho EC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
