Paulão Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS BAIANOS. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gláuber Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PAIA booed when LOS BAIANOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, LOS BAIANOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Vianna to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, LOS BAIANOS could leave the field as winners, despite PAIA having more of the ball for most of the match.
