With an extended leg and a bit of luck Acácio Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14thth minute of the game Dino Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União da Mata's Acácio Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dino Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes in the game Laerte Albuquerque did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luís Paulo Marquez. Dino Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Acácio Catarinense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Oscar Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Neves made a kick off. Dino Esteves took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Acácio Catarinense. Acácio Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Gomes in the 96th minute of play forced Quarahy's goalkeeper 秦洲森 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
