Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Paulão Bezerra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dênis Freire's late challenge caught a PAIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dênis Freire helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pedrinopolis FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dênis Freire hit a great ball. The Pedrinopolis FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pedrinopolis FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
