Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramiro Soares kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Douradinho EC's Andrézinho Tinoco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio da Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Douradinho EC's Andrézinho Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Claudinho Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basílio da Fonseca. Xuripa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinho Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Claudinho Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio da Fonseca having to interfere. In the 39th minute Andrézinho Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrézinho Tinoco did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Basílio da Fonseca 41 minutes into the match. Basílio da Fonseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andrézinho Tinoco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

In the 55th minute Ramiro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andrézinho Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Jano Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Douradinho EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xuripa the free kick. After having played for 90 minutes, João Augusto Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xuripa's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Augusto Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douradinho EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Xuripa for a fine match.
