The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sport Clube Lion! Mateus Hoffmann took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Abreu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Massa in the 28th minute of play forced Sport Clube Lion's goalkeeper Waldir Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Anatoli Todorov sped through Sport Clube Lion's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waldir Abreu. After 92 minutes, Maurinho Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Míticos FC and the Sport Clube Lion players grew even worse after the yellow card.
