Elivélton Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Bastos having to interfere. Cesinha Gomes hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, LKbrazilian's Glauco Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mário Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 52 minutes, William Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desportiva Guarabira's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Reginaldo Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Nelsinho de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LKbrazilian's José Vítor Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute Elivélton Amorim suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 60 minutes into the game, Glauco Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LKbrazilian's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desportiva Guarabira the free kick. A collision led to LKbrazilian getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. In the 62nd minute, Nelsinho de Amaral sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LKbrazilian's José Vítor Bastos didn't even have to move. In the 68th minute, LKbrazilian's Breno de Queirós dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Mário Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes of play, Desportiva Guarabira's Nelsinho de Amaral made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
