The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Vaz during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zundao's Ezequiel Vaz got a free kick in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Arne Engström in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magno Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Stig-Arne Engström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magno Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Arsenal MGK booed when Zundao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akil Yurtsever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Engström in the 21st minute of play forced Zundao's goalkeeper Magno Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Zundao defense, Stig-Arne Engström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magno Figueiredo. The Zundao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magno Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Zundao's zone, Zé Roberto Orange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magno Figueiredo came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Orange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Zundao getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Wilton Linares hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Stig-Arne Engström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zundao's Magno Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 minutes, Stig-Arne Engström made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Zundao's Magno Figueiredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Magno Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Engström in the 39th minute of play. Stig-Arne Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnaba Drebit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Arne Engström to make the kick off. Stig-Arne Engström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Magno Figueiredo made a huge save. Magno Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Akil Yurtsever sent off a good shot on target. Magno Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal MGK's Stig-Arne Engström. But to his dismay, Stig-Arne Engström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 83rd minute, Stig-Arne Engström made a precise shot to the right of Magno Figueiredo. Zundao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Barnaba Drebit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Figueiredo having to interfere. Arsenal MGK's Carlos Augusto Damião was substituted for 김 남. In the 91stth minute of the game Stig-Arne Engström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zundao's Magno Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
