Alberto Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Vaz in the 21st minute of play. Clemente Paraense hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Clemente Paraense was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Ori's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 25th minute, Frédson da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Juvenal Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón de Salles in the 33rd minute of the match. Alberto Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Ori's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Linares came free, but Alberto Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zundao's Magno Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Zundao from getting a goal against them. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juvenal Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Ori's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Mendonça came free, but Alberto Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Magno Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juvenal Hoffmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Tasso in the 52nd minute of play. Juvenal Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59thth minute of the game Juvenal Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zundao's Magno Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zundao's Magno Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Hoffmann in the 64th minute of play. Magno Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Túlio Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramón de Salles came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alberto Sena could save by the left post. Zundao's Wilton Linares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alberto Sena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Juvenal Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Vaz in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Juvenal Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of Magno Figueiredo. Zundao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 80 played minutes Zundao got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Mendonça. Zundao's Magno Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Paraense in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zundao's Percival Linares got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ori's Juvenal Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
