In the 7th minute, Dadá Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tião Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Vieira in the 10th minute of the match. André de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sebastião Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guto Magalhães's late challenge caught a Jacus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. Guto Magalhães hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Diogo Favoretto made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Dadá Donato sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Jacus getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alexsandro Hermes hit a great ball. With 27 minutes on the clock, Murillo Esteves commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 27 played minutes Jacus got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Esteves. André de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Jacus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Donato to maneuver through the defense. Tião Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Neves in the 38th minute of play. If Dadá Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacus's Dadá Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sebastião Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Breno Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Diogo Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, André de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacus's supporters rose to their feet, but André de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diogo Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tião Nunes came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Mansinho's Sebastião Neves. But to his dismay, Sebastião Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. André de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Diogo Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dadá Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Favoretto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Jacus's Tião Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Jacus from getting a goal against them. Breno Barral hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Goiano in the 77th minute of play forced Jacus's goalkeeper Tião Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Donato hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Fernando Linares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Tião Nunes made a huge save. In the 82nd match minute, Jacus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Barral to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Mansinho's Luiz Guilherme Vieira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Dadá Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Favoretto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Mansinho getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ismael Zanette hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes, Jacus's André de Sousa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diogo Favoretto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jacus reached it. After having played for 93 minutes, Dadá Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guto Magalhães hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Mansinho's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
