Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juvenal Hoffmann got the match started through his kick off. The Sao Paulo CE fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Sao Paulo CE's Nuno Botelho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alberto Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Raphael Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Sena. Ori's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphael Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Raphael Trigo took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Alberto Sena to make any attempt to save it. Nuno Botelho took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Sena. Alberto Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrézinho Gomes during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Andrézinho Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Sao Paulo CE got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Dracena. Juvenal Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Botelho was the one to do the kick off. Raphael Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raphael Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Renan Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Juvenal Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Giovani Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Giovani Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sao Paulo CE's protests and gave Giovani Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Giovani Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renan Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renan Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Alberto Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Tróia in the 67th minute of play. Ori were furious when Rodolfo Cardozo was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Rodolfo Cardozo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ori's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ori! Ori:s Alberto Sena showed great skill when he stopped Bernardo de Queiroz:s penalty. A hard shot 76 in the game by Clemente Paraense from a close distance when the talented Renan Cavalcante managed to make a qualified save. Sao Paulo CE's players were relieved. Alberto Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Clemente Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Trigo in the 85th minute of play forced Ori's goalkeeper Alberto Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Juvenal Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ori's Alberto Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Trigo in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Nuno Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sao Paulo CE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sao Paulo CE's zone, Juvenal Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Cavalcante came out of the goal and Juvenal Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Raphael Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sao Paulo CE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
