Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Otávio Porto started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Porto in the 6th minute of play forced Recursolandia's goalkeeper Vic Vanpevenaeyge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulão Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulão Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivo Leme was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jorge Falcão. The supporters of Recursolandia booed when Catanduva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Dahmen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivo Leme having to make a save. Recursolandia's Nico Dahmen got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fábio Magalhães's late challenge caught a Recursolandia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Catanduva FC's Fábio Magalhães got a free kick in the 15th minute. Walmir Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Nico Dahmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Recursolandia getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alfredão Romero hit a great ball. Otávio Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Recursolandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Matorin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Recursolandia booed when Catanduva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Matías Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico Dahmen to make the kick off. Recursolandia's attentive Josué Amaral managed to snatch the ball when Aníbal Senna made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. If Otávio Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico Dahmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Leme having to interfere. When Nico Dahmen fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recursolandia's protests and gave Nico Dahmen a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the match, Recursolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Porto came free, but Vic Vanpevenaeyge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vic Vanpevenaeyge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Magalhães in the 72nd minute. Nico Dahmen got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th minute, Nico Dahmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vic Vanpevenaeyge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Otávio Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Recursolandia getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alfredão Romero hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Silvinho Félix in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Recursolandia's Josué Amaral. Recursolandia's Josué Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredão Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ivo Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aníbal Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Recursolandia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
