Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tião Sá kicked off to start the match. Davi Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davi Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Davi Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Matador EC's zone, Douglas Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho Matorin came out of the goal and Douglas Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Capixaba during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Pinheirinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Capixaba. Luan de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tião Sá in the 17th minute of the match. Renato Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandrinho Matorin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Luan de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Douglas Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Benedito Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renato Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedito Batista took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luan de Queirós. Luan de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Pinheirinho EC booed when Matador EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandrinho Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Pires in the 59th minute of play. Luan de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Sá in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Valdemar Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedito Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan de Queirós having to interfere. Renato Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sandrinho Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Douglas Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinheirinho EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Douglas Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Douglas Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pinheirinho EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Palmeira couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Palmeira in the 89th minute of play forced Matador EC's goalkeeper Sandrinho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
