The supporters of Variant 1971 booed when Iuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Iuna's Pedrinho Britto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eriberto Chaves. That made the score 0-8 after 86 minutes of play. Cauã Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
