Piracuruca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agostinho Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Pinheirinho EC's goalkeeper Luan de Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vivaldo Mangueira. In the 32nd minute, William Cardoso made a precise shot to the right of Luan de Queirós. Pinheirinho EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Piracuruca's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Palmeira came free, but Agnaldo Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Medeiros in the 92nd minute of play forced Pinheirinho EC's goalkeeper Luan de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Piracuruca were awarded a corner. Agostinho Gomes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Kléber Moreno got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 93 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piracuruca fully deserved thier win.
